CAMPING LE VAUGRAIS

Superb smaller campsite in a great location.Peaceful, quiet and with good, well kept and well maintained amenities, including a nice pool.I recommend the premium pitches with fridges and loungers!Pitches are spacious and private thanks to dividing hedges.In a stunning location in the countryside, near some stunning local cascades.Artemare is easily walkable and has a few nice shops, some excellent restaurants and a handy medium sized supermarket.

Staff are excellent. It is so nice to be treated so well and it was a pleasure to be there every day! Very much recommended !

Fabulous campsite in a lovely village.Large pitch which was screened on 3 sides with hedges giving a feeling of privacy.Site is immaculate and the owners very clearly take great pride in their business.Bread service each morning was very useful and the village had a good range of local shops as well as a small carrefour. Great cycling either in the hills or using the well designed cycle paths a short distance away. Would love to return.

One of the highlights of our trip around France and Switzerland. We liked Camping Le Vaugrais so much we decided to extend our stay. Our holiday was made better by the thoughtful (and free) activities provided by our hosts, and also the happy conversation and comraderie between both our hosts and the other campers. A really lovely, simple and quiet site. The pool was refreshing during high temperatures, as was the river that runs alongside the site. We all had a really lovely holiday. Thank you!

There are some lovely villages and towns nearby. Also, don't forget the magnificent Lac du Bourget.All in all, camping Le Vaugrais is the perfect campsite to spend your holiday.
