Latest reviews for CAMPING DU LAC DE COISELET
Wonderful campsite at Lac de Coiselet. Very friendly and helpful owners. Very comfortable shower and decent other sanitary amenities. You can order bread each day for a fair price. And at €12 per night for 2 adults, tent and car the price for staying is also a bargain. Most of the campground is occupied with fixed caravans/mobilehomes owned by fishermen, but there is plenty of space for tents. Most beautiful campsite I've been in a while.
Exactly the type of campsite you'd want to visit if you're looking for a remote, quiet and non-touristy place! We came in July without reservation, paid very little for a night with tent and car and were free to chose any free space (there aren't really any assigned pitches). Most visitors seem to be long-term (French) holidayers, which makes this place even more authentic. It's run by an elderly lady and her son who do make a great effort to make you feel welcome (even if you don't speak French). You can access the lake by a small path and jetty. Sanitary facilities were clean. All in all an awesome place!P.S. If you're more of an "luxurious" camper, who needs lots of space and fancy restaurants etc. nearby, this isn't your place.
It is a great camping really nice and quite clean sanitary building and a very kind owner. You can do some great hikes close to it and they also have some surf boards on which you can discover the lake. I think the best part of our stay there was that we got invited for some games of pentang (kind of jeu de boules) we didn't know the rules but they explained it to us in their best English.
This camping is located in a beautiful area close to the coiselet lake. Depending on the type of camper you are you'll like it or not. Its small, clean, mainly french visitors. No animation or such. For lower budget a fine place. While we were there was a caterpillar plague which sort of bothered us but the camping cant be blamed for that.
Very nice little campsite in the middle of nowhere. You are welcomed by a very friendly lady and given one of the 50 parking spaces for a very small price. Free choice of seating, of course. The pitches are all very shady, which is really great in summer. The access to the lake is in the immediate vicinity and you are almost alone there. The water is very clean and natural. It is a perfect place to switch off and simply enjoy the peace and quiet.
