Latest reviews for CAMPING LES GORGES DE L'OIGNIN
Pitches are okay, a bit small. Lots of shade available, and with a great view of the lake. The toilets and showers are okay, but are not cleaned very well - you'd expect better for the price. Staff is very friendly.
Stayed here for four nights. Lovely location, the manager was very welcoming and amiable and handled any of our concerns brilliantly. All four of our kids had a great time at the pools and the shaded walk along the lake was great for the hot days.
A nice campsite with sheltered, level pitches throughout. It's in a great location on the lakeside with 3 pools and a playground to keep the children occupied. The facilities are OK but there is no soap in the hand basins so take your own. The manager is friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar is a bit basic but is still nice. There are lots of nice lakes and walking trails around the area, definitely worth a visit.
The camping as some stunning views. If you stay at the lake just sit and take in the panorama, however prepare for a frog's concert at night. The pool is well sized and nice. There I a spacious disabled sanitary block.Unfortunately the main sanitary block is being worked on so a section for me is closed and there are 2 showers and 3 toilets stall for women.. this would definitely be a problem if the camping is full.Toilets are clean but a refurbish to bring them to the 21st century would have granted a 5 start.Owners are friendly. It is not an ideal camping for an older teenager looking for things to do.
Fantastic, breath taking views if you can get the lake view. We had pitch 62 which was beautiful and close to a small toilet block. Not the sites fault however there were an inordinate amount of flying ants and moths on our second night and we only had a very small candle lit. Sue the time of year early September the second pool was shut and we were a little unimpressed with the cleanliness of the toilets/showers however we have found this on larger sites too.... Its almost as if they stop trying so hard when theain season has finished. That said I would be happy to visit during peak just for the views alone.
