LA PLAINE TONIQUE CAMPING ET BASE DE LOISIRS

Swimming pool was closed during our stay even on hot sunny days. Nothing in the surrounding area to go for a meal or drinks. The campsite is clean and shaded. The plots are huge. Clean and massive campsite. Shop sold minimal items.The one brasserie was completely booked up. We got take away pizza one day and it was ok.

Great campsite, you must go here, alot has been invested in the entrance and the lakeside facilities, however be warned this is in great contrast to the camping facilities which are fine at best.In the toilet/shower blocks everything worked and was relatively clean - however the ladies was closed and everyone had to use the gents - this was without explanation at check-in.The camping pitches are in a beautiful location, tranquility and nature in abundance, however not very welt kept. Grasses and hedges overgrown and look untidy. It's early in the season when we visited, and this is most likely on their to do list before the high season.This is still a great site and we'd love to return, the situation with the lake and all that offers is fantastic.

Way too much traffic on the campsite. Even cars belonging to the camping are old diesel cars, however some are electric: lot of noise! There is noplace to play soccer for kids. Cars should not be able to drive after 22:00. As a family we were stuck between groups of youth. Way to much noise!! We left 2 days before the end of our reservation. Youth was making a lot of noise near the brasserie area. We made a complaint. Toilet buildings are very dirty

We visit the reception and send some pictures of the dirt we experience at the sanitary buildings in Vanille and the other buildings. The stains on the wall of the toilet where there for more than a week. We hoped they would got some attention. But unfortunately it didn't.As we told at the reception, we really enjoy staying at your campsite. The pool, the lake and beach, and al the activitys are really nice. But we also experience a very low quality of the maintenance and cleaning of the sanitairy buildings, that makes it not likely to come back or recommand this campsite to others.I understand that the renewing of the sanitair is a part of a 5year plan. We hope that the sanitair will be renovated soon.In all the reviews about the bad cleaning the owner replies:"Our teams of professionals are trained in the strictest hygiene rules to ensure impeccable cleanliness for the sanitary facilities. We are therefore surprised by your comment, but we will of course pass the information on to the teams involved"How can you be surprised when there are so many complains already?We stayed at Vanilla 02 from 25/7 untill 11/8

An amazingly well organised and operated water activity park with some lakeside camping pitches.Toilet blocks are slightly dated but very clean.Security patrols are regular (probably to prevent people trying to circumvent the main entrance).Issued RFID bracelets ensure appropriate security for gaining access to the areas for Campers only.
