ECRIN D'AUVERGNE : LODGES & SPA PRIVATIF - ADULT ONLY

Écrin d’Auvergne is absolutely excellent. A week here brought together elements of many other holidays we have enjoyed in the past. The location is wonderful: on a hillside overlooking a meadow which slopes down to a rippling stream. The chalet locations are subtly offset, so that there is a sense of complete privacy. And the apartments themselves open on to a patio with hot tub, wonderful in the evenings. The design influence is subtly Scandinavian: an open plan bedroom/kitchen and quite superbly designed shower-rooms.Breakfast, comprising this region’s peerless bio produce, arrives in a picnic basket each morning. It was very simple, but it set us up for the day.Pierre-Eric was a considerate host, helpful with suggestions for our holiday; discreet, but at the ready if we needed his help. He was excellent.One final thought: English is not widely spoken in this area. Any effort to speak French goes a long way and is really appreciated.

We loved this pretty and peaceful break in the heart of Auvergne.The owner knows his stuff, he has made this place an elegant and authentic experience. No TV, no fuss, breakfast in a basket when you wake up :)With the possibility of relaxing in the private jacuzzi at the start and end of the day.The region is superb; We came across a group of deer while returning from dinner one evening.Good to know even if we didn't use it, the well-equipped lodges allow you to cook if you wish.

Very pleasant night, calm and soothing place. The chalets are very spacious with quality and warm materials. Top-of-the-range wooden Jacuzzi, very decent dinner. Everything is done to have a good time as a couple or relaxing.And to top it all off the owners are very friendly.

Our night at Ecrin d’Auvergne was an extraordinary night, out of time…! A perfect place to get together as a couple, in peace, in a bubble of greenery and well-being. Lots of discovery activities in the surrounding area: Château du Val, hikes and water activities possible around the nearby lakes.We will come back without any hesitation!

5 stars even more🌟A divine invitation to relaxation. A silence barely interrupted by the sound of a stream in front of our Lodge. A kind and professional welcome from Pierre and Marjolaine. Putting words to it is almost indecent. We spent 7 magnificent days, tailor-made breakfast, fresh and local products. The Nordiq bath and other high-end services. Bedding, shower room, kitchen, dishes, everything was perfect. Bravo for allowing us to discover Auvergne in optimal, luxurious and natural conditions. I recommend this little paradise in the middle of the woods with my eyes closed. Dany Thierry.
