Great campsite with very friendly owners. There is the right amount of activities and things to do on the campsite; nice kids activities, as well as good restaurant, and bar that is open when you need it. Good place to stay with young children. The surrounding area is beautiful but not as many highlights as other areas in the southern center.

Warning! The (new) owner made stuff up to illegally take our deposit. During our final checkup he came into the hut with one clear goal: he literally made up some dirt and put up some hysterical act. After 10 minutes in which we did 'extra cleaning' he saw we weren't impressed, gave up and said it was good. So I confirmed with him that we'd get our deposit back when we left. 'Yes, you will!' Then the nastiest thing happened: After we left, a day later he took our deposit money from our creditcard behind our backs.

Great. We were the only ones there when we left (mid October). Very peaceful, rural, woodland setting with plenty of shower water (!), and quite adequate loos and wash-up etc. Owners are delightful! Will go back when next in the area. Can recommend for small vans, tents but maybe tricky for larger motor homes as some of the pitches are up a steepish track with bends. Good walks around. Bread available and croissants made on site. Tres bon!

A beautiful campagne with very pleasant, hospitable and friendly owners. The weekly boatrace and weekly breadbaking on open fire are great activiteit. Roomy places for your tent. Luscious green on and around the campsite. Beautiful creek along the campsite in which the children can play.

Absolutely NOT suitable for anyone who is not Dutch or has no kids. They could have mentioned on their website that the campsite is absolutely crawling with masses of screaming Dutch children. They even ran straight through the area where we were camped up. So disrespectful. It was basically a noisy Dutch embassy with lots of toddlers. And we had to check out at ten, which I think is very early, all we wanted was another swim in the pool and a lazy breakfast.
