FLOWER CAMPINGS LA CHÂTAIGNERAIE

Stayed at the campsite with our own tent. Very nice campsite,not too big, not too small. Nice facilities, enough toilets and showers, very clean. Good pool, small tennis ground and football field. Friendly owners, good value for money. Surroundings not extraordinary, but very convenient as it is not too far from the highway. Nice weather. Would definitely consider coming back, though I would ask for a pitch with more shade.

The location is idyllic. The pool is wonderful. The campsite is small and quiet. However the showers were barely warm and the lighting in the wash areas was intermittent with fluorescent tubes not firing up. The pitches can have slopes on them to get into and out of the pitch. There is a restaurant but we did not eat there.

Decent site. Some pitches too wet to get onto others lower down a bit tight getting on and off with a 7m camping-car.. Good bar and hosts.

Very nice Place vor Camping, big Place for Camper, cool Groundsman, all clean and very comfortable. And the Restaurant ist also very fine.

Excellent place to stop. Current management awesome. Out of our 12 campgrounds we stopped at in France this was by far the best. We were bike touring and the cimb up was steady and worth it. Clean friendly quiet and peaceful and with evening entertainment that topped off the day so well. We didnt want to leave. Great spot. What I liked the most was the friendly staff. Restaurant on site and no cars constantly going by. You were truly in peace.
