Camping Floral was open in November, this was great for us as it is a bad time to be looking for camping sites that allow caravans. the site that we were allocated was close to the bathroom and reception. We received a friendly welcome and we're only charged 17 Euro, 2 adults, 1 car and 1 little caravan, plus a dog and electricity included. The site had a level concrete base for the caravan and enough space to park a car, even a van, next to it. There are lots of big trees and hedges between a lot of the individual sites. The men's bathroom was locked but the ladies was open. There was warm water but not really warm enough to qualify as hot, no toilet paper, so bring your own. There's an area for dishes and washing . I found the dustbin area with separate collection for recyclables close to the entrance. The place had a bit of an abandoned and neglected atmosphere but that probably had a lot to do with the time of year that I was there. Late November is not an ideal time to go camping in this area. This is not the fault of the site! As a whole I would recommend it, everything that is required for a quiet, convenient sleepover. Price is generous, we slept in worse for more.

Don't go to this place!!! The owner is apparently mental or has some other serious issues! We arrived at 19.35 and reception was closed at 19.00 (opening hours were not mentioned on the webpages). I called the number on the door and they answered that "we are closed, go out". I tried to reason with him that we are already here, there is a free pitch right there and we can check-in and pay in the morning. He hung up on me. I called again because for me it did not make sense to decline paying customers. He started yelling to me in french, probably not very nice words. Only thing I could make clear were English "we are closed, get out from our place" After I said I didn't understand french he started yelling even more. Have to admit I also lost my nerve and yelled back in English and my native language, but I guess that is what this lunatic was after! I really do not understand why he would host a camping site if he hates people so much!! I would not be surprised if he would attack someone sleeping in there, based on the way he was yelling to me- a potential CUSTOMER and a guest!I had read some of the similar reviews but I wouldn't have believed that someone could actually act this way. Crazy, crazy person !And a free hint to you monseur: Do NOT leave your phone number on the reception door if you want to just yell at customers, instead put a note: Sorry- we are closed- No check in during xx- xx. And close the gates when you are closed!

Great for those in cars etc. Especially as an overnight stop on route south. Located in the very busy N7 so not a safe route for cyclists. But. Clean and tidy. Good facilities and good price for sole cyclist or rambler. And, best pizza by far. Traditional oven cooked. Excellent.

Very compact site with office restaurant pool toilets and pitches all very close together.... that’s where it ends unfortunately despite the owners good work.... unfortunately and beyond the owners control, if you want a good nights sleep bring earplugs or move on elsewhere ... the road, railway and neighbours moving about(engines running etc) since 5am make this a NO SLEEP stopover...sorry owners but just couldn’t recommend for these reasons.Ironically the power plant across the river was the quietest element... but looked spectacular in the night sky light!

Camping is fine, surrounding also except for the nuclear power plant just across the river! Never really quiet because of the road, railroad and power plant, but otherwise sufficiently calm. Nice little swimming pool, and servings of cold drinks and pizza.
