CAMPING INTERNATIONAL DU LAC BLEU

Have just visited this beautiful site for the fourth time. Great pitches with many having exceptional views of the lake. The sanitary and shower facilities are excellent and the service at reception is always friendly, helpful and courteous. The site is perfectly located to hop on the cycle way which circles the lake for a short cycle up to a nearby supermarket to pick up some shopping or a little further on to Annecy for an amazing ice cream. Can’t wait to return

Fantastic location and campsite. The staff are friendly and helpful and the site is well maintained and clean. There is something for everybody at this campsite from peace and tranquillity to crazy people paragliding off mountains. The cycling routes are excellent too !

Spacious pitches, very quiet and very near to the lake wherever you're located on the site. Showers are clean and hot all the time. Restaurant on site which sells fresh bread however you can walk a bit further down for a little shop where prices are a little cheaper. Stock up if you're cooking before you get here as big supermarkets are a bit of distance. Great cycle paths around the lake with loads of cafes etc along the way. Be careful though as everyone thinks they're doing tour de France and whizz past you at high speed or the French get cross if you so much as wobble in their way 🙈. We would stay again but not for 5 days, probably 2-3 maximum.Pool looks clean, washing mashing is 6 euros if you need it.The water is extremely clean here and yes, you can drink it! All perfectly, better than the UK water 💧All in all, the facilties here are great, something here for everyone. There's a bar around the corner and places to eat so all in all a great area and holiday destination!

If you are looking for access to the lake, this is your site. If you want privacy, try somewhere else.The pitches are quite tightly packed together, with incomplete hedging between them. High trees provide shade, but this stopped my motorhome PVs from receiving much sunlight... some other pitches didn't have so much shade.WCs, showers and other facilities were immaculate, possibly the best I've seen in France.A bit of road noise (and a significant dawn chorus from myriad birds) quite early each morning.Next to the site is a small supermarket with a reasonable range of goods, and The Sunset Bar which was quite acceptable for an easy supper.Doussard is a 25 minute walk / 10 minute cycle with better shops and restaurants.

Brilliant site, right on the lake. On site bar/restaurant, shop nearby. Lake side isn't great for sunbathing, but 5 mins walk to the public beach/grass area next door. Also good bar next door, with boat and board rentals. Facilities clean. Great cycle track all the way to Annecy, or opposite way to Albertville. Will definitely return.
