Lovely campground perfect for families with young children. During peak season a lot of families with children are playing everywhere and the pool can become very busy. Luckily there is a second Silence pool for adults only which gives you the feeling of being in an oasis. Definitely a recommendation and definitely coming back.

Communication with Camping Europa appeared to be good beforehand. A couple of weeks before we arrived, we had an email asking us for a security deposit, this security hold on my credit card was not released until 1 month after the stay and I have waited for this before completing my review. We stayed in a 2 bedroom lodge. The day of arrival we had a phone call from reception because we had not arrived before 6pm, it was 5.57pm. We were stuck in traffic in Annecy and it took a further 20 minutes to arrive. Only 30 seconds away, I got a phone call to say that they would leave the keys outside reception for the lodge, we were literally pulling into the camping site and I explained that we were arriving, but no, they were going, we saw them leaving. On arriving in the lodge, we checked the inventory and there were items missing which were reported through the campsite App, none of the items were replaced, so I hope the people after us checked their inventory carefully. The evening of the day we checked in I received an email informing me of all the tasks to be completed before we checked out at 9.30am!! on leaving day.The accommodation must be made clean (floor, bedrooms, kitchen, toilets and bathroom)We ask you to:• Clean and defrost the fridge the morning of your departure.• Clean and put away dishes and kitchen equipment• Clean toilets, showers, cupboards• Remove large marks on the windows• Sweep and mop the floor (wet mop to put outside)• Remove and throw away the bath mat in the trash.• Empty the trash cans, throw away the used toilet paper rollNot sure there was any cleaning left to be done by staff!Needless to say this had a significant effect on our enthusiasm for our stay and we left a day early.

This was a lovely place to stay for our family. The facilities were great and everything was clean. The views of the mountains are impressive. The children enjoyed the pool despite it being quite cold. The location is good for quick drives to Annecy and cycling around. The location is close to the main road which can't be heard from where we stayed, but it does mean that the walk to the lake includes crossing the main road.

We stayed in the cabins and the place was spotless on arrival. Staff are lovely and the pool and kids club were really good. The location is not very good for shops or restaurants nearby and no food can be purchased on site between 10am and 6pm which was a big letdown. Otherwise location is lovely with scenic views of the mountains.

Great location, great restaurant, friendly staff, great facilities. The cleanliness of the unisex toilets next to the playground was down compared to last year
