Latest reviews for CAMPING DU GOUFFRE DE LA CROIX
Small family run calm campsite that has a lot of character. They were very welcoming and helpful. It's a beautiful location, with lots of mainly nature focused activities (hiking, biking, etc).We hired the 4-person tent, which had everything we needed. The sanitary is a bit dated but clean.Even in 35 celsius weather, the river is really cold, so be warned 😀
We spent 10 nights here with our tent. Nice camping with a nice little river next to it. The water is rather cold but after getting used to it it's a great place to cool down. Shallow places for the kids, deeper pools for a good swim or a jump into the river after a swing on the rope. Owners are friendly and helpful. Sanitary block is maybe a bit on the small side when the camping is full but it's clean. Food can be reserved on the camping and is fairly priced. Although camping was full at the end of our stay it was silent at night. The owner takes responsibility in keeping the place agreeable for everyone. We might come back some day! 😀
Great camping, very cozy pitches. We visited in may. It was nice and warm and you can pitch a tent right by the river. Very sweet family runs it, tasty bread service, warm showers.
In order to wash dishes properly the water is always cold, should hotter. If you don't mind swimming in icy water (15 16°) the river is fabouleus. Nice big pit with nice view. However not easy accessable for big caravans
Perfect location to explore the insanely beautiful Vercors. The campsite pitches look out to the Dramatic limestone cliffs. There is a river at the foot of the campsite, perfect for wild swimming. The owners are a very friendly and hard working couple, who go out their way to make your stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
