We stayed here for one week in a very nice trappeur-tent. What a fine place to spend your holiday! Very clean sanitair, quit and cosy. Good service and Nice staff. Great place for watersports. With a nice hike, after you get on the boat 'Mira' which takes you to the other side of the lake, you can go to the suspension bridges. The lake is amazing, beautiful blue water. The restaurant is very good, we ate there twice and enjoyed the music night. Camping de la plage is a place we really enjoyed!

We loved the place completely - starting from the ‘hearty Welcome’ we’ve received when we arrived ‘til the close location to the amazing lake, where you can just sit and watch the Kite Surfers.If you’re in this area, the spot is a ‘Must Stay’ 😊

Disappointing pitch. A lovely setting for a campsite with great facilities and access to the lake, however we found our pitch to be very small despite having emailed our tent specifications before and not having a very large tent or car. Half the pitch was sloped giving us very little room to put up the tent and the ground was rock solid making it almost impossible to put in tent pegs. Furthermore we were directly by the toilet block so were kept awake by a man vomiting for a whole night.

The place to be for camping and water-sports!I recently left the camping after my 3 week stay in July and I must say that for a 2-star camping, I was very pleasantly surprised. The sanitary is all very clean and the camping is very calm. The camping places are very large with a nice view on the lake Le Lac de Monteynard and the camping is right at the beach. The lake has a constant strong wind blowing over it making it a great place for windsurfing or kite surfing.The restaurant of the camping Le Spot have very delicious pizza to offer and every Saturday there is a live band playing. Also the staff of the camping are all very nice and helpful.Camping de la Plage is at a perfect spot where you can hike to the surrounding mountains or take the boat La Mira for a lake tour and to bring you to a very fun hike around lake with exciting bridges. Places like Grenoble or Gap are also nice cities to visit during your stay at la Plage.If I am looking for an another holiday on for windsurfing and hiking in France, I will definitely come back to Camping de la Plage!
