CAMPING LA CASCADE

Really nicely situated campground with good pitchers to put the tent. Prices are good a shower costs 1€. What really disappointed me was how the lady of the reception was we wanted to leave at 13:00 because we needed to dry the tent and all morning she looked at us like we where criminals staying illegal at the campground I didn’t feel welcomed at all. Also at that time the campground was empty so I don’t understand what the stress is about leaving if the campground is full I understand why you have to leave early. They spoke very poor English

We came from spending several days in the mountain, and just asked for a shower (paid, as many other campings offer). They seriously answered NO. Only for camping clients.We went to another camping, and they gave us the smile and the shower, for 2€/personIn a mountain area like this, were many mountaineers come down from mountain activities and the only thing they need is a shower (they will not spend the night because they continue on the road), denying this is a big mistake. For this reason, when we come back to the valley, we will not stay at this campsite.

Very awesome and calm place, not far from the cable cars that connect Venosc with les deux Alpes. We managed to reserve a cabin before 2 days from our one night stay, however if you want to come in peak season (August) you must reserve too early. Sabine, the person working in the reception was very friendly and showed us a place where we can grab some food nearby. I highly recommend!

Stunning view, next to a cosy village and plenty of hiking options around, it's a nice base camp! Showers are 1€ for a really short time, but apart from that it's all good. Super tasty bread (order before 19h the day before!). It is quite a big camping with lots of tents depending on when you are there. The sanitary facilities were not cleaned often enough in my opinion.Important: no ATMs in this town, no cards accepted either, so get your cash before you go there! Bourge d'Oisans is 30minutes by car to go get cash, not fun to waste an hour because of this. The owners are understanding and can wait a day or 2 on money if you look trust-able

Great location, but the toilets were not clean. Some of the camping lots are tricky to get to with the car (narrow right-angled turns between trees).
