This campsite would get 5 stars, if the toilet and shower facilities had been clean.The location is great, with beautiful vistas over the Loire and it's valley. The camping pitches are nice and large and the proximity to the nautical recreation area on the little peninsula a great bonus.The staff was also super friendly, so despite the hiccup with the facilities, we would definitely come back.

On the positive side the pitch had a great view over the reservoir. To be honest though the place was barely ready to open up. There was construction materials dumped around the back of the toilet block. As a result males had to use the ladies shower block. Water in the showers was virtually stone cold. The whole place badly needed a deep clean before opening. The only saving grace was the manager was a nice friendly person and I didn't want to be cruel to her.
