Beautiful place, with a lovely bit of river to swim in. It's nice that the camping places are divided by hedges. There's a pizzeria and swimming pool on site. The only downside is reception doesn't open late or early and it's on a fairly busy road. Would go back.
A quaint old fashion tired site with a charm of it own. However, we arrived whilst it was closed from 12.30 to 4pm. Not convenient but happy to wait. But at 2.40 the lady running the reception approached us and told us to move our car and caravan to the side of the entrance and had we not seen it opened at 4 pm? We didn’t even have a chance to say could she let us in and then do the paper work at 4 pm. Her irritation meant we left having wasted two hours hoping for a quiet enjoyable rest from our journey.
Thou this is a late posting, i was at this campsite back in March 2017, working locally, can i say it was a most memorable time in France, the people on the campsite were great, made me welcome and allowed me to mix with them, i was here to the end of 2017, made some good friends, the management team there would do anything for you, brilliant site, brilliant people, resident occupants were great, we had some great parties, the pizza bar was fantastic, will be back to see everyone when i can travel, hope all is good.
Nice spot, relaxing. Very nice and helpful people at the service desk. And I had a nice swim. It’s also a short walk to the town.
It was noisy, next to a road and mostly on the campsite there are locals that drink and laugh very loudly untill 1am and after that a group of young people took over screaming, running and making noise all over the camping. This campsite is full of people that disregard others and have no respect and lack of manners. The noise stopped around 3.30am, we basically did not sleep because at 7am dogs started barking and at 9am they started mowing the lawn. This is the worst camping experience I've had so far in my life and I worked on 2 campings myself. I have never seen anything quite like it.. maybe a zoo...
