A really beautiful campsite made even more lovely by the hospitality of the owners who went over and above in so many ways. We had a wonderful stay and were very lucky to get a place without booking in advance. Thank you so much!
Great campsite in a beautiful area, lovely hosts that were very friendy and helpful, quiet, good size pitch, good value, good facilities.
We had an amazing stay here, thank you for having us.We came to stay for only 4-5 night, but ended up staying for 9 nights. To start; the place/location is so beautiful. The owners of the camping are 2 very kind and lovely people who love to help.Their dog and cat are also worth a star 😀 .The tent spots are all great and privé. We came after high season but I cant imagine it being to loud or busy in high season.Toilets and shower are good and clean! (bring your own paper).See you again!
We did not make a reservation in advance and got lucky because we were still able to get a spot for our van for 2 nights. The owners are just lovely people, happy to help out in any way they can and always available for tipps for activities. The campsite is a little bit outside of the village and up the hill. This is great since it gives you a scenic view over the valley and the lake. It takes roughly 30min to walk to the lake.We highly recommend this camping if you are staying in Chambon-sur-Lac.
An excellent central point for exploring the volcanos and lakes. The campsite is run by husband and wife and comprises a bar that serves food, a small swimming pool, playing area for the kids, bread delivery, wifi and all the brochures and information you could possibly need upon the locality. The area is popular with skiers over winter, although not the high-enders. Over summer, the walkers and runners come along with bikers. There are one or two beaches along the lake in the picture plus a castle to visit and various other attractions. Everything here is still reasonably priced, including the campsite. Fishermen or women would enjoy it here as the lake is stocked with trout and others.
