Latest reviews for CAMPING LE PANORAMIQUE
Beautiful site with great facilities and gorgeous views. Great location for hiking and cycling. Beware it is COLD at night and mornings even in August as 1000m high. The bread delivery to your pitch is a nice touch. The nightly entertainment is far enough away from pitches to not disturb.
Enjoyed 8 days at the campsite. Very well maintained grounds and super clean sanitary facilities. Swimming pool is very clean and sufficiently large to cool off. The view is beautiful and the immediate surroundings offer a lot of hiking. Because of the altitude it is not too hot to do anything during the day and nice to sleep at night. After 8 days we haven't seen the last of it so we'll be back.
Wonderful campground. We liked it so much we came back for a second night after departing. Sanitaires are impeccably clean and well equipped. The reception staff is just lovely. Lots of board games, sports equipment and some basic groceries available for purchase.
Beautiful views, as befits the name. Friendly staff. Pitches and cabin positions generate a crowded feel, although ours had a view, others look onto the pitch or cabin opposite. Our pitch was gravel and grass - mainly gravel. We have punctured the ground-sheet on our tent due to walking on the sharp stones beneath. I would have asked for another pitch, but the site was full.Toilet and shower facilities are new and spotless, cleaning regular and can't be faulted. We were there during Covid-19 restrictions and made wearing was adhered to, but then the dancing started and social distancing amongst staff and campers went out of the window! We maintained our distance.Pool is adequate - the kids don't care as long as it's wet. Some of the buildings surrounding it are rather agricultural, including the bar which tarnishes the appearance somewhat.Food was OK, I had a great burger, a local blue cheese speciality which would have been lovely, but ruined by a terrible cheap bread bun! Unusual for France. Rotisserie looks good but we didn't try it.Beer was quite expensive, but I still drank it. Wine was sold in what was effectively a thimble, get a bottle! Bread and croissants can be delivered to your pitch, but the choice isn't great.Soirees seemingly every night. Music is very loud!!! All the staff join in, and on the first night we were served by a super-hero, a man wearing a pink mohican, and som chalet girls. My boys enjoyed the "Campsites got talent" and other themed nights, but I thought it was heinous! If I were to explain this site in one word, it would be 'wacky'.
Nice camping with beautiful surrounding and views and very comfortable grass pitches. However, it's the first camp in Europe we have been where they charge for kids from the age of 1 year, even in the low-season!Also, it's full of little "mistakes", such as one shared toilette paper, missing soap in the dispenser, only a few showers so people have to wait to shower (even in off-season!), dirty and incomplete playground, too many "regulations" whats people and kids are not allowed to do,...
