Stayed here for a week in small VW campervan with my two children.Although it was pretty busy (20th–27th August) the facilities were v clean and the campsite surprisingly silent most nights after 10:30ish.Small trampolines, 2 table tennis tables and a few other bits & bobs make it fun for the younger ones. The pool is busy at peak times but clean and the slides were great.You can order bread/croissants the eve before. There is a small cafe serving meals but the one we had wasn’t great (v overcooked moules but good frites !) and the service a little grumpy.Saint Nectaire is lovely, though sadly a little faded in its glory. There is only a v small supermarket at the top end for supplies. The Auchan in Besse (lovely mediaeval town) is much bigger.The campsite makes a great base for exploring the area.

Have been staying here most of June, leaving today. The site is lovely, perfectly maintained. Great facilities, great pitches. Beautiful pool - great Pizzas - stunning area. The best part fantastic on-site dedicated helpful owners, they are top. Thank you guys for all your kindness - I feel fully rejuvenated after my convalescence here followings a serious operation. We will be back for sure

We stayed there last week with my parents and my brother. Chalet large enough for 4 people but frankly no more... Cleanliness to be desired, we noted the enormous speed of cleaning in the accommodations... However, I did not see anyone cleaning the toilets for people in tents and camping because.The shower was very defective, no flow, cold water or very hot water... The swimming pool is heated only by the sun because it is an indoor swimming pool but without the sun it is frozen.. no inventory with us on arrival and at our departure so if there was something wrong we couldn't tell them.Managers, however, very welcoming and pleasant, nothing to complain about.Very expensive snack for what it is.
