LES PORTES DU BEAUJOLAIS

The camping was ok, the food expensive, the Mobil Home itself was nice. However:- multiple sewage lines were disconnected and the poop of multiple weeks was under the home- there was a big pool of water (or urine?) under the home- there is not enough parking for your car- the homes are too close together- the staff is rude during checkout. The toilet door says 12 but they warned us about a fine after 11AM.We made an official complaint about the situation but no one has responded. They did repair things but that’s it.We asked for a refund but we were ignored.DO NOT GO HERE

Decent camping with nice staff, housing and pool. However, the toilet and shower drains were not connected to the sewers. This resulted in a localized ‘swamp’ around our mobile home.

We came to the Mobile home and it was alright, it had ac, it was decently sized. The location did not have much to do nearby and the homes were close together.After a few days we realised the drain to the shower was not connected and the water just fell on the ground. This got fixed quickly. The next day we realised the toilet drain next to the master bedroom wasn’t connected either, there was a load of feces and water and or urine under the mobile home. This got fixed a day after we realised it and called for repairs. We asked for a partial refund via email and got no response yet. This was 5 days ago. When we left 2 days after the drain issue, we got warned for checking out too late an hour before we were supposed to check out. when we arrived to check out on time we had to wait there for 15 minutes, we turned out 6 minutes late and the staff got angry at us for 6 minutes even after the drain issues.

Only positive and bright emotions about that camping :) We've been on holidays and travelled across the France. We drived a lot and stayed three nights at this camping which is not so far from Lyon city. The location is nearby the small and cosy city Anse, also not so far from the highway. The personnel is very friendly and polite, they are willing to help whatever you are asking for, speak English for them is not a problem. There are a lot of benefits and pluses - indoor swimming pool with heating and jacuzzi, outdoor swimming pool, sauna, playground for children, ping-pong table, mini-golf, small shop etc. The air is fresh and in the evening it's quite nice to have some walk around the camping. Our children enjoyed a lot, they have only warm memories regarding the camping. We chose it because of the friendly distance from Lyon city, one day we spent in the camping itself and next day devoted to Lyon. I would definitely recommend that camping and looking forward to stay one more time or even few more times! :)

Please do r support this camp - during the riots when I could not get past Lyon they turned me away because I had a tent.They want to only make money out of camper vans and motorhomes - they advertise they take tents, but in fact, they had no play. No people who had tents and had turned everyone away. No care for people- unsafe.
