Don’t go here now! It used to be a camping municipal but it has changed to a commercial business. Lots has changed; very unfriendly personnel (the lady walked away mid conversation…!) weird shower system (no men/women signs) uncomfortable showers with so little water that even on the hottest temperatures it feels cold, watch out for the wild bee hives (I got stung multiple times by bees), and if you order bread/pizza: make sure you have a back-up plan cause they just don’t deliver in time. And the prices have gone up significantly. Basically you now pay more for way less comfort.
Needs 7 stars for location! Ace site, of course, it's huttopia! Loved it here, 5 days after hectic italy it was such a welcome. Cool at night, amazing walks, jaw dropping views on the heights, clean new bathrooms, friendly helpful, bilingual staff. France seem to be selling off the municipal campsites, I hope huttopia buy a few more of the good ones! Restaurant is small but good pizza and charcuterie, tartiflette etc. Basic shop, bread, milk, wine, order daily breakfast, breads or pastries. Cafe is 6 to 9 pm. Great campsite. 😎
The most amazing views you can have. It was super nice there. The only thing that I would do in that place is to add more things to do for kids.
Hidden gem, not overcrowded. Beautiful vistas, ideal starting point for hiking (even some sport climbing). Nice playground for kids (river near by), kind staff, showers and toilets could be cleaner though (and a better wifi signal).
Although a slightly unpleasant drive in our old camper, it’s 100% worth the drive up to the park and to stay here! Amazing setting in the valley with lovely staff and awesome restaurant (try the Canada burger). Laundry isn’t too expensive to do. Bathrooms dated but not awful. Would stay again!!
