CAMPING L'EDEN DE LA VANOISE

Don't stay here, there are two other campsites in the area, one is just up the road and right next to the shops. I'm walking the GR5 and hung my laundry in the designated place overnight. In the morning my socks/pants were still wet so I put them in the sun whilst I packed my tent away. After less than 20 mins staff had put my socks, towel and underpants in the bin. Even worse, they didn't admit to it, nor did they help me find them. I started looking in the bin by reception and behind the bar and found them there. No apology from staff. Very disrespectful, a horrible start to my day.

BEWARE - this campsite is right by a main road, the trucks keep you up all night!! Not ideal when you’re here on holiday to go hiking…The ground is incredibly rocky so it’s impossible to put your tent pegs in. This location was chosen and we paid extra to use the pool but it was filthy!! Avoid this pool and place at all costs. On top of it all, the staff were incredibly rude and dishonest. Wi-Fi was poor and you have to pay if you want to charge your mobile phone. In all of the other campsites I’ve stayed in offer charging points in common areas that are free to use.Overall - wish I’d stayed somewhere else. Staff need to learn to be nicer to paying visitors…

Stayed one night in my camper van, great site and facilities, lovely people and great location.I didn’t hear the road only the river.

We stayed here for the ski season 2023/24 in our motorhome and we had a great time. Free bus to the slopes, fresh bread, clean and warm shower block, heated drying area for ski boots, heated indoor pool, and most importantly great hosts. We would definitely recommend, and we will return. Look out for ‘la grande fontaine projet’!

short break A very warm welcome on arrival. Friendly staff who were always helpful. Spotlessly clean wash block with plenty of hot water. Pitches of a good size some with shade from mature trees. swimming pool was excellent and warm. will be back for another visit.
