Small camping ground that offers a family-like feeling. The greeting was very friendly, one person directly helped with the translation from German to French - quite a relief if you are only capable of broken french. It's a pretty open area, exactly like you'd expect a camping ground. Some cats are at the reception - but it's to be valued positively. They're very friendly if you don't chase after them and treat them with respect.
What a lovely campsite. Next to the river. We were in a campervan. There's flat parking, clean showers, clean toilets, easy waste disposal. Perfect. We will certainly be going back.
We stayed here last night, the camping is on the river, tho there isn't direct access to it from the camping. The reception area is really nice and have a good little set up. The lady that checked us in was really nice. We come from Australia so have little knowledge of the French language but we got it sorted, no prob at all. The showers and toilet block were great, clean and the showers were hot. We enjoyed our stay. But be warned if you camp next to the river, the mossies are everywhere.
Location is good, very central to the small town and the sites to pitch your tent are pretty good. I was cycle touring, the site is just off the EV6 route so very convenient. Toilet block not very well designed and for anyone with mobility issues, there are steps.
Small cosy personal camping with plenty of old trees next to river. River was shallow when I was there in August but plenty of peeps still sat in it to cool down. There is a laundry in the village and a bio food store.
