CAMPING DE NEVERS

Great Service Despite High Water in the Loire.We recently camped at Nevers and had a fantastic experience, despite the unexpected challenge of the Loire flooding! Due to high water levels, the lower areas of the campsite were closed. However, the Nevers campsite management team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.They found us a great pitch on higher ground, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We had the most amazing views we could have asked for! The staff were incredibly attentive throughout our stay, checking in with all the campers to make sure everyone was safe and enjoying their time.It's important to note that despite the disruption caused by the flood, the campsite facilities were spotless and very well-maintained.Overall, we were very impressed with the Nevers campsite. The staff's attentiveness and the fantastic views from our pitch made it a memorable stay, even with the unexpected high water. We highly recommend this campsite!

Lovely little campsite. Pitches face across the River Loire to the City. Facilities excellent. Warm toilets and showers areas. Staff very friendly. Gates locked at night, feels very secure. Highly recommended. Probably very busy in the summer.

It s a very nice place to stay.Sylvie and her associate were very friendly and helpfull with us.The wc and the showers were perfectly cleaned.Special mention about the music in the toilets local. It is warm !Location is absolutely great to discover Nevers.The view on the bridge by night was really cool

Good, no-nonsense campsite for cyclists and hikers to spend the night and visit the city. Places for small tents lack shadow, but there are good places to sit in the shadow beneath beautiful trees, with a nice view on the city. However, you will spend most of your time anyway in the amazing city of Nevers, at a short walk over the bridge. Friendly staff.
