CAMPING DE MATOUR

We’re family with 3 children, stayed in tent 🏕️ really nice, comfortable place with electricity, water, sports activities, specially swimming pool was great for children, even for us! Friendly people and good service! We really love it and recommend!

Nice camping with lots of shade. The neighboring swimming pool is free with a camping wrist band. The sanitary buildings are very clean, one has a very strange lay out. It's under the reception and restaurant and is a bit creepy to walk trough in the dark, the toilets are all the way in the back. Friendly employees.It's not possible to order bread at the camping, but there is a bakery and small supermarket at 5 minutes walking.

This campsite is in a beautiful area, it is a lovely site well laid out and the facilities are excellent. There is a bar serving simple snacks and drinks, my wife particularly liked the Croque Monsieur. The swimming pool next door is very good for adults and children. We were concerned however regarding the security especially at night, there were at least three pedestrian gates that were left unlocked at all times and the main entrance barrier was never closed during our visit allowing vehicles onto the site at 3.00am and young people wandering noisily through. Concerns were raised by ourselves and others on site but the staff seemed unable to understand what the problem was. The area outside appeared to be the congregating point for the local youngsters.

We are staying here right now and it's excellent. Small camping with enough shade. Very friendly owners. If you stay at the camping the municipal pool beside the camping is free which is great. I would highly recommend.

A well looked after campsite by the two managers,who are polite, informative, and keep the site with nature in mind, lots of birds and butterflies ,close to the town which is well kept and has all the shops you need, stunning countryside all around and the lake is good to walk round, thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable.
