Beautiful and calm place to enjoy nature and very good goat cheese!
Here you can literally live among the animals: 2 donkeys, a herd of cows and many goats.Be careful with small children because the biting flies are omnipresent (end of July) in the most rural part of the domain. There is no possibility to discharge a chemical toilet within the domain, but other basic facilities are available in rudimentary form.Wheelchair users will find a wide shower and toilet area. The terrain is also suitable. Why that maximum score?Life is simple here. The operators really do their best and offer an experience that is as close as possible to the rural experience. There is a limited supply of fresh vegetables and goat cheese. There is a bakery and shop 5 km away.Don't expect luxury, just authenticity. For example: we finally found a shower big enough for the family to use. All facilities are functional and clean. For true camping enthusiasts and adepts of the modest camper life, this is worth 5 stars.
While looking for an overnight campsite on our route to Annecy, we encountered a problem, because apparently there are hardly any campsites along the A39. When we found one, it unfortunately turned out to be full, but we were referred to this campsite by the friendly Dutch owner of the TerreFerme campsite. The campsite is located a little further from the highway (approximately 11 km) and can be reached via small farm roads. The friendly couple speaks a little English, but enough to help us. We were able to choose a spot ourselves (it is a farm campsite and that's how the spots are) and looked for the right spot so that we could park the caravan as easily as possible. The sanitary facilities are old-fashioned, but neat and clean. It also has something! And you don't have to worry about the money, because for 1 night (caravan, electricity, 2 people and dog) we only paid € 16.
Beautiful picturesque campsite, everything is super clean and beautiful. You are among the cats and chickens. The farm shop also sells beautiful products. Really a picture! However, there is not much to do in the area.
Very nice and quiet campsite. Friendly hostess / owner. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Worth repeating.
