This is now a camping car park sites, not a municipal.Lovely large green area with a mix of trees or open space on the bank of the river. A bit of a walk into town. There’s also a snack cabin at the entrance. It’s by a municipal swimming pool too. Seems to have a children’s play area.Toilet block at the entrance is closed and rundown.
Lovely location initially however this was the first aire that we didn't feel safe in which was a shame. Unfortunately we couldn't park properly as the pitches were too soft so had to park on the road along with another motorhome. It was okay for one night however we won't be returning.
Great motorhome parking area.shade if wanted. Next to a swimming pool and 2 rivers. Toilets and showers are excellent. Not sure how they would cope if the site was full. Would definitely return.
This is the worst camping we have stayed in France so far. Although some of the plots have nice views along the Saone and it is overall a quiet site (unless you are on the side of the municipal swimming pool just next door, full of screaming kids), the camp isn’t maintained. There are two facilities blocks although one is unhealthy and should be closed (I think prison facilities might be of better standards). It is so bad I have written to the local health board. The other one is tiny and pretty dirty as well as shabby. There are only three toilets for a camp that can housed easily over 100 people. The showers (only 4 men and 4 women) do not drain properly so make sure you are showering with your flip flops! The sinks are old and dirty.I should also add that the dishwashing sinks are inadequate as too smalls. Oh and there are no bins on site (no wonder as no one maintains the site) and the number of bins outside is not enough. This is clearly an site for passing by travellers and it’s ok if you have a camper with your own facilities and you don’t have to go near the insalubrious facilities….Finally the site is also full of cyclists with tents coming in the night without paying as this is part of “Camping-car Park” and they can easily enter to use water, electricity, etc which we members are paying for…Never to come back on this one!
Wonderful small campsite on the banks of the Soane. 5 minutes walk to town for restaurants and shops. On the other side of the river the Voie Bleu the long distance cycle track which follows the river for miles. Swimming pool next door and good clean facilities on site. Brilliant friendly hosts who couldn't have been more helpful- even organised a screen for theFrance/Holland Women's Euro game. We had pitch 13 nearest the river under a large shady tree and great sunsets.
