Perfect location! Small and quiet camping site in the middle of nowhere. We stayed twice on the site this summer : in a mobilhome and a week later with our own camping gear on one of the best spots on the camping site.Extremely friendly owners.Highly recommended!
We were here 4 years ago, and found this lovely camp site by chance as part of a two week motorcycle tour of Europe.Lovely, friendly campsite.....wish we could have stayed for more than one night and explore the surrounding area. The little shop had most things we needed, including a nice selection of beers 🍺Planning another tour next year, and we'll definitely be stopping in.
Easy going family camping. A lot of families with small children camp here, which means that children find play mates easily, but ear plugs are also needed if you don't want to wake up by a crying baby or so. Shaded sites underneath the trees make sure that on hot days it stays relatively cool in your tent. The site is on a hill which means the ground isn't very flat, and you need good tent pegs (preferably the thick ones for rocks) and a good hammer to get them into the ground. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
First impression was clouded by the weather on arrival but the site was great. Loads to do in the area and the kids club was a hit with my girls aged 5 and 8. Swimming pool was ideal for the hot weather and a couple of play areas helped keep the kids entertained. There was a "treetop parcours" within half an hour which you pay a daily rate for entry and was brilliant as we could do it together as a family - group discount on presentation of a stamped bit of paper from the campsite!
They do like their rules and signs here. Which their insistence in pointing out doesn't add to the enjoyment/relaxation of a welcomed paying guest! Just general interaction by them was not warm. Nice simple pool. Pretty clean and good facilities. Our pitches weren't great - electrical hook up point shared by pitches around us meant cables running through our pitch. The site seemed to go silent at 9.30pm - not a place for chatting/drinking beyond 10pm!
