We are having another brilliant holiday at L'Atlantique. Best campsite in the area IMO. Our 2nd visit with our 3 children ages 5, 7 and 10. Very easy journey from Roscoff. Location can't be beaten, with beautiful direct beach and Beg Meil a short cycle (mostly off road) away. Great pool area & slides, spotlessly clean. We didn't eat at the campsite restaurant as other local restaurants are better (as you would expect), but it is convenient for the nights you don't want to cook or go out. Drinks at the bar are very expensive this year so we won't go as often as we did previously. I asked to move mobile and the staff were excellent in accommodating us with our request. Activities for the 'middle age' children could be better (ie not the smallies but not quite teen age) as our boys found miniclub too young for them but the activities they would have enjoyed (multi sports, soccer) were for the teens. And a tennis court would be the cherry on top.. Already looking forward to returning in 2025.
Great campsite with easy access to beach. Lovely cabins on private pitches. Fantastic swimming pool for kids.
Amazing campsite, the facilities such as the shop, pools, slides are brilliant. Location to the beach is perfect, about 5 min walk, and cycle path outside campsite is awesome. Only down side is the bar/restaurant part. Food was okish, small menus and one night had pizzas and pretty much zero tomato sauce, was very dry. Cheapest beer is over 6euro for carlsberg, french beer was all over 8/9euro which is extremely expensive. Bars in local towns all have pints of french beer for 6euro. For a campsite to charge that much for beer is bad, we rarely went for a drink rather had a beer at our accommodation. Usually we would always have a beer every day at sunset, not so here unfortunately. But that was the only downside, the rest of the place was amazing, staff incredible, will definitely return.Edit: returned June 2024 and they had lovely local lager for €5.80 a drink, so defo a 5 star now. Pizzas this year were fantastic too. Will be back again in 2025.
This is a fantastic, family friendly site. The entertainment staff were superb in the day and night. The pool and slides were great and the kids loved the soft play. I would go back and would recommend it with a few comments: 1. Our pitch was really small and we paid for the highest level premium pitch. It had the toilet facility in one corner at the back and a huge tree in the opposite corner at the front. We have a large tent which took up the entire (small) pitch. There was zero spare space on our pitch for the kids to play. But there are big pitches - so my advice is do your homework and pay to request a pitch. 2. The site felt cramped. Pitches are small and cabins and parking are everywhere. I didn't feel my kids were safe cycling around as the roads were always full to the brim with parked cars. Did my kids enjoy it? - Yes, they loved it - and that's all that matters.
It's a lovely resort and we really enjoyed our holiday. The facilities like pool, playground, soft play are fantastic and it feels very safe. The shop is excellent and it's definitely the best shop I've seen in a holiday resort in France so far. The staff were very polite, helpful and it was an added bonus having everyone being able to speak English. Thanks for a great holiday!
