Latest reviews for CAMPING DE PORTEZ
This campground is exactly what I was looking for: a nice location, not expensive and quiet. It was a bit cold because of the wind blowing from sea, so take an extra blanket! The showers were very clean and there is WiFi in the communal area.
Nice campsite and campervan site. Right next to the sea. Beach 2 minutes from the site. We got here at 10pm and had someone show us our pitch. Caravans here aswell. Highly recommend
I am here and this campsite has great views. There are trees around and in the heat of the sun, one can take a nap under the shades.Very good places for everyone.I don't think anyone can complain much about the place because the price is very democratic. There's also a bus-restaurant when you enter the property and it offers different menus every week. Plat du jour €9, entrée/dessert €3,50, Street food €7.
The campsite enjoys a great location, close to the sea but views are very limited. It would rate more of we were campervanners but we have a simple caravan. Since we have a mover located just behind the wheels, we are very sensitive to kerbs and sharp bumps which can damage the mover if we are a bit careless. This site is littered with sharp transverse concrete strips across the access ways. It is quite difficult to avoid them and, with a clearance of only 4 1/2", we were at some risk getting to our pitch. When we leave, we've noted a step of about 5" on the exit route out, so we shall have to disobey the one-way system to leave. This is a special case, but devastating for us. Best pitches seem reserved for campervanners. The steps are totally unnecessary.Otherwise, some pitches are v difficult to access, having to drive up step grassed banks. The sanitations are few and distant from many pitches. Two gents toilets, four urinals, two showers shared between a lot of pitches. Yobbish blocking with paper of the w.c. disposal point took more than 24hrs to get sorted after notification.
It's a beautiful campsite. Perfect location with an amazing view!
