Nice camping. We had a modern "chalet" with airco, 2 bathroom which was good. Across the street was a campervan sewage dump what was not so good. Bad smell all day. Also the busy noisy road direct behind the chalets / campground is not so fine. On warm days the pool is to small and gets polluted fast. Don't bother buying wifi internet, it's crap. Kids had a wonderful time.
A stunning little campsite right beside the river l'elle. Trees in every direction. Very peaceful, good value, nice pools. Definitely one for those who want a quieter break when camping.
Had some issues with the hot water on the first couple of days and it seemed the park wasn't prepared for UK half term holiday goers when French schools were still in session.Unfortunately the high ropes were out of action since a storm in November'23.
Terrible experience at this campsite. Location wise, it's okay. It's a bit further from the coast and the pretty and authentic towns. But a green surrounding. The camping promotes itself as a 5 star camping. At first sight, the camping is a 4 star camping, with a river and much green large spots. However... The sanitair is disgusting, also because of disgusting people of course. But dirty drapers and poo on the floors for days is also a cleaning thing. The showers had no water force, and were cold. You had to cuddle the dirty wall to catch some water. The doorhandles and floor were barely cleaned. The pool is okay, a bit overdue. Like the restaurant. A bit greasy, messy, and not well put together. There's a lot of noise at night and barely any control. There were no lights at night, even though we were standing next to a river, dangerous for small kids. The worst thing, however, were the bugs. I'm not talking about a spider of fly here and there, but many cockroaches. I've never seen any at a campsite, let alone so many. Not only did we have to kill multiple per day, but they crawled into our (new) stuff, so we had to throw it away. You really don't want to have them at home, so we had to cook-wash all our clothing, throw good (new) stuff away, and buy poison. That's beside the lack of an enjoyable holiday feeling. Now we're back home, and we still have to check everything piece by piece, and that's so time-consuming. There has not been a solution given to us so far. Let's hope they can fix the discomfort and all the extra expenses a bit.
Lovely campsite, extremely friendly staff and a reasonably priced restaurant with good choice on the menu. Had a pleasant weekend
