Latest reviews for CAMPING AIROTEL LA POMMERAIE DE L'OCÉAN
Really pretty campsite. On the small side. The pool area is beautifully done.Needs a bit of maintenance as broken filter covers & trim coming away from inside pool. But I am sure they will sort this when the season ends. The outside bar area us very nice. But was only open once whilst we were there.Last week in August.Reading other reviews this is not unusual. If it is advertised then it should be open. They also advertised waffles & ice- creams outside but neither were available Entertainment was mostly in French so can't fully comment. However that was not too much of an issue we still joined in where we could & had fun.Though the quiz might have been a bit of a problem 😀.The accommodation, a lodge for 4 was clean. No oven ( as advertised),not too much of an issue apart from the fact that 2 of the hobs burners weren't working. The vent in the lounge area leaked when it rained, luckily on our last 2 days but the seat cushion was mouldy at the corner so think this is an ongoing issue. The curtains at the window are a very small square of fabric that doesn't cover the windows fully.( please replace them). The outside furniture was dirty, had to clean it first & the tables plastic had degraded but these are not big issues.Overall the campsite is pretty, mostly well maintained. Disappointing that the bar area wasn't open & ice-creams weren't available from there.Although they were available from the inside bar. There was no security that we could see so could get rowdy in high season. But Staff were pleasant & tried to include us as British with little French, though I did try.We had a good time & would recommend the campsite overall. If the bar area was open & a few more activities & a better shop it would have got a higher rating. We were still in August until the last 2 days of our stay yet much was unavailable. On the plus side the pool was lovely & peaceful. The village a few minutes walk has a fab restaurant, a beautiful 15th Century Church & older outdoor font, & a great boulangerie. The surrounding area has a lot of beautiful beaches. The point at Trevignon was lovely & others nearer Nevez were fab.So many pretty villages nearby with Pont Aven & Quimper & Concarneau not too far.We had a fab time & even joined in at St Philliberts festival.
Good for families. Large playing facilities, very nice pool. Camping on green places. Place will probably be rather crowded in high season. That may influence one's privacy. Good bread service in morning. Reasonably good showers, cleanliness ok. Price (off season) was good around 16 Eur per day, for pitch with 2 persons and car.
That's the worst camping I have ever been! We had spent there one week and seriously - we were placed woith our van on the most noisy parcel, we could hear cars passing on the road. The staff is not interested and helpful, there is a lot of trash everywhere, our parcel was not clean and really small. What's really disappointing is the price which doesn't explain the poor quality and camping service. Next time we will stop in "camping municipal" and at least we will be somewhere in the city and we will pay half price!!! Never again!!!
great location but this campsite is not what it promises with their sales pictures, below mid class campsite while you pay for a 4 star camping..nothing to do for parents, no decent restaurant, swimming pool very small....luckily our children found some friends who stay the same period as us....for the rest still 4 days to go we can't wait to move to another place
A very well maintained site with large pitches separated by hedges. Each pitch has electricity, water and drainage. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Easy access to the coastal path with beautiful sandy beaches.
