CAMPING DE L'ÎLE VERTE

Fabulous campsite within a few minutes walk of the beach, restaurants, grocer and baker in Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes. We've been going to the site for a few years and Anne-Sophie and Baptiste always make us feel very welcome. The beach is not a pretty one but our dog loves walking there. The pitches are a good size and private - you see so many birds and insects from your pitch. The site is very well kept and the WCs, showers and dishwash areas are kept spotlessly clean. The location is central to Cancale, St Malo, Dol de Bretagne and Mont St Michel. There's a swimming pool and play area for children, as well as a bar (where you can get food) which is open every day in high season and at weekends in the low season. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area - one year, the sink in our motorhome sprung a leak and Anne-Sophie was able to tell us where to go to get the replacement part!

Fabulous campsite close to a lovely town St Bendoit. Owners are lovely and organise food nights on the site sometimes- we had the paella and is was superb. Everything was immaculate and owners very helpful - will definitely be back

We stayed in the little blue cottage and couldn't have been happier with out stay. The campsite is in a great location to visit some beautiful places. The staff were always friendly and helpful, we had a bit of car trouble and we're directed to the local mechanic and it got fixed straight away. The accommodation was everything we needed, clean and comfortable, very unique which is what we love! The site itself is small and quiet which is what we wanted. The kids loved the pool and play park, and the bar was great for drinks and food. There were activities or something on every night if you wanted to get involved. Will definitely return!

Location is great. 20 mins from Saint malo and Cancale. 40 mins to dinan.Can walk to the local town and beach (not a pretty beach but fine for walking morning/night) only 10 mins away.Pitches are spacious but the site is very enclosed and tight to get around with a caravan.Service in the bar was good, opening times not great, opens late in the day.Pool and amenities for kids are dated and could do with updating.Id visit again for the location.
