Latest reviews for CAMPING DOMAINE DE LA VILLE HUCHET
Lovely 2 day stay used as a base close to the ferry portLovely and clean with good pool facilities and plenty for children. The site as been developed over last 5 years and is getting better each year. Lovely friendly staff, good shop and bar with basic food facilities but has a separate restaurant. Easy bus route into Saint Malo
Loved this site. Camped right next to the chateau in our caravan. The staff were always happy and smiling, eager to help and spoke good English. Will definitely stop here again.
We had almost a week in our caravan on this site. Our pitch perfect, lovely and big for our large outfit and separated by hedges.close to amenities if we chose to use them. Except for rubbish bins that are out by receptionThe staff on reception were lovely, welcoming and helpful.Absolutely love the swimming pools, especially the outside one, brilliantly designed, well kept and heated in June. There is a bus service that can be walked from the site to, but we chose to drive to the Park and Ride. Just over 3 Euros to park and this includes a return bus ride to St Malo
Spent 11 nights in a caravan on a premium pitch.Sanitaire Prive: Shower, wash basin, toilet, kitchen sink and fridge. Really excellent, clean, modern and in separate, lockable areas. Needed standard French plug for electricity to the caravan (luckily had an adapter - could get one from the nearby Decathlon though I think).Service and Facilities: Reception, bar/snack and shop. All really good with excellent service. With the bar/snack you can eat in or take away (pizza, beer, cocktails - that sort of thing). Also onsite Creperie Restaurant - didn't try that, but looked good also. Pools (inside and outside) were superb, clean and supervised by a staff member. Outdoor pool with water slides were great for the kids and adults! Indoor pool with a lazy river and protection from the elements was a great alternative.Location: Two large hypermarkets within two minutes drive. Centre of Saint-Malo was another 5 minutes away. Use the Paul Feval Park & Ride (euro 3.30) for a 5 minute ride to the Intra Muros. Loads of spaces in the P&R - don't pay until you return. Large aquarium is two minutes away - about a half day visit. Mont St Michel is about 50 minutes away - really busy, but well worth a visit (euro 21.00) to park.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would visit again.
Decent campsite - great for kids and good access into st malo with the bus that’s 500m down the road. One criticism is the volume of their speakers for the disco is incredibly loud until late at night. If you’re pitched near the forest it’s so peaceful but near the front… very loud
