The location is top level with beautiful scenery. 40 mins walk to St. Malo. The shower water is warm and strong enough to wash off the tiredness. The price is very affordable. Would love to come back again when visiting St Malo.Thank you for offering this beautiful place at this price (20€ for a tent and a car). 😇
For solo cyclists it's a great stop. Friendly staff with perfect English. Plenty of clean toilets / showers. Shaded area to pitch tent. Cost was about 9 euroThe fortifications around it are very interesting and you can watch the sunset a few minutes walk from the camp.
Basic campsite with no frills but the location was excellent, walking distance to St-Malo with its bars & restaurants & lovely beaches close by. I would imagine it gets busy in the height of summer as even in early July it was packed. One of the girls in reception was very accommodating & helpful.
This place is a nightmare! Personal items go missing all the time, and anyone can just wander in. Several of our things were stolen, and the staff didn’t care at all. They were unresponsive and unfriendly when we tried to get help. The bathrooms are disgusting and rarely cleaned. We’ve been camping for months and have never seen such a poorly managed site. Stay away from this one!!! We would give zero stars if we could; it’s absolutely terrible!
Our experience at Camping d'Aleth was absolutely terrible. Upon arrival, we received no information about the campsite, leaving us completely in the dark about the facilities and layout. The campsite is extremely hilly, making it difficult to navigate and find a suitable pitch. The staff were NOT friendly at all, adding to our frustration. To top it off, we were welcomed by a dog poop right in the middle of our pitch. Disgusting! The sanitary facilities were gross, with some people even taking their dogs into the showers. It's completely unacceptable and unhygienic.Things get STOLEN here! Because it's an open campsite, many people from outside walk through to go to the bar, creating a security risk. There is always loud music in the evening, and one night there was a very loud party that went on until 5 AM. It was impossible to get any sleep or relaxation.Overall, our stay at Camping d'Aleth was far from fun. It was a TERRIBLE experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
