Latest reviews for CAMPING MANÉ GUERNEHUÉ
We had a great family holiday with some of us staying in lodges and some of us on the camping pitches. The whole family (14 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The facilities were great and the staff efficient and helpful. The children spent hours in the pool. We would certainly return for another holiday.
I can't recommend this place enough. We travelled as a young family and the facilities are truly excellent. We did stay in a Eurocamp lodge on site so can't comment on the camping aspect.Pools, slides and hours of entertainment for the children. The location is also perfect as a base to explore the coast and numerous towns and villages close by!
We stayed here end of June into July for two weeks in 2024. We have stayed in several campsites in France over the years but we have not found a better campsite than this. The staff are friendly and interested. Restaraunt is very good. Chalets were clean and modern, good showers. The Pool Complex is exceptionally good for families and big too! (Don't leave small kids unsupervised in the indoor pool). Most nights we were in the bar where there was live music or entertainment: bar staff were particularly friendly and drinks relatively cheap. There was a good atmosphere- the crowd are mostly French with a mix of Irish around. The grounds are lush with horses and geese not too far away. Safe for kids. The location close to Baden, Morbihan Bay and Vannes could not be better. Would definitely return.
We stayed at this campsite during the second and third weeks of July 2024. During the first week, the weather was very changeable, with frequent heavy showers. Our pitch for the caravan and the extra tent for the children was spacious enough. The pitches are nice and large, surrounded by hedges and trees, providing a pleasant and sheltered environment. Our pitch was located in the flat part of the campsite, while the other part is a terraced campsite with very steep roads.Everything is built in a circle around the center with the swimming pool, including the sanitary buildings. In the first week, the sanitary facilities were poorly maintained (only once a day), and often there was no new soap or toilet paper available. There is no real supervision at the swimming pool, and the same pattern is seen throughout the campsite. You see campsite staff all day long, but it is stated everywhere that they do not supervise. This is not what we are normally used to from Yelloh! Village Campings. There is usually strict supervision at the swimming pools to keep it fun and safe for everyone.Within a few kilometers, there are several beaches located on the bay. We always went to the "Plage de Mané Guen" beach. This beach is a 25-minute drive away and is directly on the Atlantic Ocean. It is a beautiful wide beach that slopes gently down to the sea, and dogs are also allowed.
Loving it. Like Cornwall with constant sunshine. Thankfully no Newquay equivalent! The facilities are surprisingly very good, the accommodation is very clean and well maintained, the pool area is great and the food is fab. If you're expecting a Magaluf holiday, stay away. If you want a friendly place with loads of local surf and culture, you may just like it!
