Latest reviews for CAMPING ART NATURE VILLAGE
Just returned from a stay at a holiday bungalow here.It is a very nice, small campsite. Very quite and peaceful. We were delighted to see a boules/pétanque area, ping-pong/table-tennis and a badminton net on entering. There was also a small playground suitable for young children near the site entrance. The site was busy for the duration of our stay. They have a nice mix of empty pitches for tents/caravan/camper van that seem generously sized, various stationary tents set on wooden platforms/pallets, and mobile homes/bungalows.We stayed in a TAOS Mobile home (Louisane make). It had two rooms and a pull out sofa-bed and was finished beautifully. It was also notably larger than some other ones we have stayed in elsewhere. There was no oven or barbecue but otherwise the kitchen area was more than adequate and did sport a microwave and a decent sized fridge freezer. We had no issues with road noise, but we were in a bungalow and the experience is likely different closer to the road, or in one of their safari tents or on your own tent pitch. The road outside front can be busy and the sound is perhaps reflected by the ample wooded area surrounding. Each of the pitches appear to be serviced with water & electricity and there are toilets / showers / washroom in a block near reception. At one end of the site you can walk right out into "Le Vegétarium" via the outdoor photo gallery area in the wood/bamboo and stop there to shop/eat or just pass through onto your way into La Gacilly village.Along that same end of the site runs the Aff river (l'Aff). The site had a little pontoon there with open top canoes (up to 3 person) and pedal boats of various type for rentThe bin areas have compost bins and recouping for glass, paper etcThey have weekly exercise classes on siteLastly, although it's a small site they do offer breakfast and evening meal and advise booking
The Sanitary house seems to be relatively new, but is rarely cleaned.Only few places for tents or campers. Close to the street and some noisy traffic at night.Really close to the City Center, 3min walking distance.
Top campsite, super green, quiet setting. Very pleasant welcome. The plus of this campsite, a stone's throw from the town center, I take away one star for the lack of quality of the bedding in the cottage, tired mattress.
Beautifully appointed campsite, pleasant welcome; Spacious pitches, separated by hedges. Very clean sanitary facilities. Near the town center of La Gacilly. But a busy road. Price €24 / 2 people + campervan and electricity.
We were 3 people in the mobile home at pitch 33 for 1 week so I will only write the positive and negative points of this mobile home.Positive points:Very professional welcome, pleasant people, proximity to the shops of La Gacilly and central points in the photo exhibition which is located next to the Yves Rocher restaurantNegative points:Low WiFi coverage (plan 4G), curtains not the size of the windows (too small), doors are not very large because my father, being a former rugby player, could not enter the rooms of the mobile home from the front , also don't plan too much to put in a fridge because it is not very big and the biggest downside is the shower which is not thermostated which is a shame because for a "green" campsite this is not It's not very ecological to waste so much water. For me, camping is not worth the price displayed because paying around €700 per week for this type of mobile home I find it really expensive.
