Latest reviews for CAMPING LES JARDINS DE KERGAL
A very nice campsite and quite quiet for a relativley large site. There is a shop, evening entertainment and enough to keep the children busy. Specials evenings in the restaurant but make sure you book ahead. Only a short bike ride to the nearest town and set in a lovely location not too far from a beach. A nice and well kept pool area but make sure you follow the many rules of the pool, the life guard is a tyrant!
We spent a very happy 6 nights here. The facilities were superb with hot showers and great disabled facilities (ask reception for a key). There is some aircraft noise from Lorient airport so if this is likely to be an issue for you, you may want to look elsewhere, but it is mainly light aircraft in the morning and afternoon and didn't bother us in the slightest. Reception and housekeeping staff were extremely helpful. Unusually for a French campsite there is a dedicated dog walking area. For walkers, you are on the edge of a small nature reserve and the attached map should help you find your way there (leave the camping by the sortie mer but turn left and you will find a path to your right after only 200m or so).
Noisy, expensive and don't even think of ordering a drink at the bar - ours never arrived. Avoid.
