Latest reviews for CAMPING DOMAINE D'INLY
Overall we had a good stay, however I would say 5 stars is a bit of a push, it probably was 5 stars when opened, however it's in need of a bit of a spruce up to warrant it now. The Eurocamp staff were great and there whenever you needed them, even when our gas ran out at 8pm. The water park and slides were brilliant and the kids loved it, but again showing signs of age, some of the slides had little to no water running down them, loose tiles with sharp edges on the entrance floor weren't great. There was also a distinct lack of lifeguards, maybe two to cover the whole water park, they mainly sat outside with little view of the pools, so worth keeping an eye on your little ones. The shop on site was hugely overpriced and the snack bar food was not really what we've come to expect whilst in France, the queue/wait was always at least 30 minutes if you could stand to wait in there due to the smoke from the kitchen, there is a lovely pizza place inPenestin itself though. It's worth noting that everything outside the park is a 25-30 minute walk away, so scooters/bikes are a good idea to get around. Penestin itself is lovely and has some amazing places to eat, but I would advise booking for most of them, particularly at the weekend.
We booked through Eurocamp for 12 nights (end of June).Positives: the camp is set amongst wonderful mature deciduous and evergreen trees; the pool complex is fantastic with both indoor and outdoor slides and pools. The indoor facilities are particularly important given the mixed climate. The camp staff and Eurocamp reps. were super friendly and genuine. The accommodation was cleaned and well equipped with a dishwasher. A bbq was available on request. Good bikes are available to rent.Downsides: the nearest beach is NOT suitable for swimming. Decent beaches for swimming at about 25 min drive away. The on-site mini market is extremely expensive. There is a mid sized supermarket in Pénestin however. At the end of June there was little atmosphere in the on-site bar. The kids activities (at least in June) were weekends only and only in French. In Summary: a nice campsite, fantastic pool, wonderful staff. Good beaches are a drive away however.
Very run down. Water park is unsafe and poor safety very few life guards. Too many guests. Feels like owners are milking it with no investment. Shop is rubbish etc. go to a yellow park as we normally do. Don't stay here. Real shame.
Amazing camp site with fantastic facilities for kids. Would definitely come again!
Great spot and very friendly. My kids have had a great time.
