Great location and campsite ... short walk into the lovely village. Cafe bar, swimming pool, clean toilets and shower block. Washing machine and dryer. What's not to like ...
Small and simple camping, we didn't experience any noise, contrary to other comments here. Actually it seemed a pretty silent place. Sanitary facilities are simple and a bit oldish but clean and with hot water also in the showers (it could be regulated as one wished).Generally a very good experience and after two weeks of travelling in the north this was definitely the cheapest camping with heated pool that we stayed at, very economic! The pool is very nice, warm and never really seemed crowded. The two trampolines for children are excellent and the animals are an additional joy for small children. To be improved: soap for washing hands was out almost all the time and towards the evenings some toilets did not have paper anymore.
Stay for 7 nights and had a fantastic time. Facilities were great. Pool was lovely too. Enjoyed the town of Rochefort en terre but loved the walking paths in the area. We walked around the lake many times. What a lovely area.
We found the campsite to be very warm and friendly. It is family run and we met mother and son. Both were pleasant and polite but the son went out of his way to make sure we were settled and happy with our placement. We enjoyed the experience of their campsite and had several drinks from the bar and coffees. We went into the nearby town only to find that we could not buy bread even as it was an artisan town. The campsite did take bread orders so we should have had bread delivered to the camping! We had a good stay over the weekend and loved the camping plus the walks around the lake just below the campsite.
Stayed here for 2 days in our motorhome. The pitches are large and well defined. There’s a nice swimming pool. Very friendly staff. We will definitely stop off here again.
