Latest reviews for CAMPING LA VALLÉE DU NINIAN
Every year my wife and I along with our dog, spend at least six weeks over the season at this fantastic site.Nothing is a problem to the lovely family owners, from the ideally located stocked reception for wine and pre ordered bread to the impressive large serviced pitches. The facilities are the best we come across in all of Europe including Britain, clean and warm a credit to the owners.Friday nights at the restaurant are an ideal opportunity to mix with fellow visitors, encouraging friendly chat and holiday stories! Whilst enjoying food at a very reasonable price, which would grace many a top Restaurant.Super dog friendly with walks into the village on a quiet safe road.Quaint places to visit Josselin, Ploermel, Lizio, Auray and the not to be missed Malestroit with a walk along the canal a particular highlight.Shopping ten minutes away in both directions, for a vet the one on the outskirts of Malestroit beside the Super U, is fantastic.Roll on next Year!
This is an amazing place. Conceived to make your stay amazing.Cleanest restrooms ever (they clean three times a day). Amazing heated pool. Super nice management. Great park for kids. Bar. Restaurant... Definitely great!
Excellent site. Family run, all of them a total delight. English spoken if you don’t speak French. Dogs welcome, small shop in the office at reception selling local wines and their own cider and apple juice. Large pitches. Impeccably clean toilets and showers (English people please note the French way of loo roll outside the cubicles on the wall). Great traditional play area for children. Restaurant open every night, but you must prebook, it’s a set menu and delicious. Great selection of local beers and good house wine in the bar. Games room. Bread (baguettes, croissants etc) all available to pre order for the next day in the office. Close to lots of cycle routes. Josselin is a must to visit.
On the whole, a clean and a well presented campsite, with a good pool. The WiFi (allowing for only one person!!!) kept dropping out and clearly can't cope with only a few users in Low Season. We are British visiting France to experience France. We were told to go to pitch 34, when there were plenty of other empty pitches and we were only staying one night. Despite all the empty pitches, we are told to go to pitch 34 right next to a campervan with British people and around the corner from more British people. In low season, why is this necessary? We visit Brittany 2-3 times a year and are always looking for good family run campsites to return to each year. In the low season of the third week in September I don't expect to have to drive past empty pitches to pitch right next door to yet another British campervan. We won't come again Pitch 34 can remain vacant. We just don't expect to be given orders when on holiday. Far better would have been to offer a choice of pitches asking that we let you know which one we had taken.
Very nice campsite. The owners work extremely hard and it shows in this well-run, clean campsite. There is a nice covered heated pool, a restaurant where you can pre book to have the rolling menu ( to eat in or take away). . we had the paella on Friday and it was delicious! And you can pre order bread and croissants for the next day. The communal toilet block is clean and we have never had any issue with hot water which seems plentiful. The pitches are well maintained and large with easy access to electric ( different ampages available) and water. It is an ideal campsite for young families with a nice playground. It is an ideal area for cycling and the setting is right in the heart of the Brittany countryside, so really quiet and tranquil. Everyone so far has been really respectful of the 11pm quiet time and we've both slept really well. One final note: whilst reasonably busy, we turned up on spec and didn't have any trouble getting a pitch.
