Latest reviews for FLOWER CAMPINGS LE CONLEAU
Great little site, ideally suited for visiting bars and restaurants on the peninsula or Vannes, Nothing wrong with pitch sizes, If you want bigger pay more and visit a campsite. Le Corlazo restaurant is excellent food and friendly staff.
Checked on line before arriving to make sure there was space - which there was - and thought that was way better than turning up to find the place full!!AIRE was fine, €12.55 for a night with electric included isn’t too shabby. The spaces are ok size wise, but cosy if you sit outside. As others have mentioned it is quite noisy. We parked on the campsite side and they were still whooping it up at midnight! Still, once you’re in the van it’s not too bad.Location wise this place was a winner. A 10 minute walk takes you to an amazing sea water swimming pool (free and monitored July / August) with some lovely bars and restaurants along the shore, boats to admire plus public toilets as well. Really lovely. We didn’t actually make it into Vannes as planned because we enjoyed the pool and surrounds so much :)One negative, I found the Camping carPark website confusing regarding whether or not we needed a card, or could book in advance, or what - but once we arrived we figured it out.Basically if you don’t have a card (pass’etapes) then you get charged an extra €4 at the gate, receive a card and then can use that in the future.I’m still not clear about when you can book places in advance, I think you have to buy the “booking pack” for €25 for that option - maybe that needs to be made clearer!Anyway, will definitely use one of these type of site again, and can very much recommend this particular one in Vannes!
Good for an over night stop. EHU available with services.
Basic and very popular Aire just outside gates of campsite. Can use their laundry, cafe and order bread. Bus outside gate into Vannes. Sea opposite so went paddle boarding from the site. Nice restaurants/beach/swimming within 200m on Plage de Conleau. Wifi not working! Book in advance as we reckon in one day over 20 vans showed up when it was already full.
Another great Camping-Car Park managed Aire, with all the usual facilities. Most of the pitches have a slight slope, so levelling ramps are likely to be needed. There are some great walks here either into town or over the causeway and round the island, which is very picturesque. The walks on the shared cycleway into town round the coast are beautiful and flat and take about 30-40 mins.Once in town there are a plethora of cafés, restaurant, and bars etc, and some wonderful artisan shops too.The old town is stunning with some very beautiful old buildings. It's definitely worth staying a few days here as there is so much to do and see.
