CAMPING MUNICIPAL LES GERMAINS

Quiet and peaceful campsite. Perfect for a night on the Loire by bike. Very pleasant welcome, clean and comfortable sanitary facilities and very suitable equipment (outdoor tables, barbecue, “linen drying” area, etc.). And all for 8€14 for a tent and two people. In short, it was perfect!

Well-kept campsite, the toilets were clean when we arrived on Saturday noon, even if we didn't see anyone afterwards for maintenance, we left on Sunday morning around 10 a.m. Fortunately, there weren't many people there. Limit ghost camping... for the moment (because I heard that this was going to change) the gate is never closed either day or night, it's a bit limited for security I think. Very nice person at reception, but very little present. Strange for a high season...

We came on 28/08 by bike as a group of 2. As in many municipal campsites, reception is not full time. We settle in according to the instructions noted on the plan and we regularize when the person (charming and helpful) providing reception is present. lots of places, very clean toilets. The site is a little far from shops but there is peace and quiet. We don't regret our stop.

What a desolation after cycling several dozen kilometers with my young child and my wife to see that the campsite was closed in the middle of July. You might as well close it permanently and remove it from the sites.Lots of young students would like to work on duty with the principle that a lot of camping does, people arrive in theday and someone is there in the morning to collect.It’s a shame because the campers keep the surrounding businesses running.No to ghost camping!!!

Nice quiet place. Supermarket and other shops within walking distance. 1 star deduction for cold sanitary facilities. According to the website it is heated in winter, but that is not true. Showering when the temperature outside is below zero and the temperature in the washhouse is only slightly warmer is no fun!
