Latest reviews for CAMPING DU PERCHE
Had a camping pitch at this lovely peaceful location. Be prepared to travel out as it is quite isolated. Chartres is a nice day out. Staff very helpful and even corrected my french language errors which was appreciated! Aqua park next door was closed Mondays and Tuesdays which meant we missed out on that which was a shame.
Great site. Lovely staff and VERY helpful when we needed extra space to dry out wet gear. Play space for kids, big pitches. Used it twice now.
The campsite is located next to a small lake which is used for watersports, mainly Tele skiing. There is also a swimming pool complex with pools and eater slides. In truth only a small part of the campsite is available for touring campers, the majority of the site being cabins. The residents of the cabins come and go at all times of the night driving on the gravel path around the camping area resulting in disturbed sleep. The camping places are grassy and shady which is very pleasant. The ablution block is slightly dated, but okay and fairly clean. The reception is very welcoming and friendly, with helpful information on the local cycling and visitors attractions. We enjoyed cycling around the area which is easy going in a mixture of fields and woodland. A pleasant stay for several days.
A very pretty campsite, with good washrooms and hot water. There is an aquatic park next to the site and an indoor swimming pool. The village is within walking distance with a bar/restaurant, which also has a small epicerie within, selling bread and soft drinks. There is a high class butchers shop opposite, also sells pate and cheese and wine. This is open on Sundays but closed Wednesday. A post office is also in the village main street, open each weekday afternoon and Saturday mornings. The couple who run the site are very nice. We have now used this all year round site 5 times. Winter and spring as lots of walks and cycle routes.
Very friendly reception, little shop where we could order bread and pastries for morning, delightful campsite, quiet, under trees, shower block spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money.
