Latest reviews for CAMPING LE SABOT - ONLYCAMP
A site with many faces. First the good:We were there early September and the site was all but empty. We were welcomed with a smile and excellent English from the young lady at reception. We were able to choose a pitch and found exactly what we'd hoped, a spot right beside the riverbank overlooking the very pretty Indre. The pitches are spacious but not delimited with privacy hedges. Access to electricity and water were more than adequate. The site's location is ideal for walking into the nearby village with its shops, restaurants and its pretty chateau. It is also well located for a riverside walk and plenty of cycling routes. The river is also good for kayaking and we were able to launch from the site jetty. The not so good, from our point of view, were the washroom facilities. Very basic and in need of updating, but the water at least was hot. Despite, this the good outweighed the bad and we'd definitely return.
Lovely campsite, quiet and chilled, in a lovely setting. More traditional with fewer amenities than some, but all the better for that.
Great location only 5 min walk from town centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the extra blankets while staying in one of the Canadian tents in April (nights were cold!). It was so peaceful at night though. The shower blocks were well maintained and clean and the whole park was pretty immaculate. I would definitely stay at an onlycamp site again.
Le Sabot Only Camp, large places, good shadow, beautiful village and castle around the corner. Sanitair is really to old and not so clean. Good for a few days by exploring the neighborhood. As is says: only camp, visitors are very individual. Just what you want for holiday.
Absolutely beautiful location.Very peaceful.Helpful smiling staff.Quiet but perfect.5 min walk into the Old Town.Only booked 4 hours before.Slick booking system
