We enjoyed our two weeks at La Mignardière very much. We booked a 'comfort' camping pitch, but also the normal pitches are quite large. The pools are great and the "heated pool" indeed is heated (very nice when promises from a website are true). The staff had challenges in keeping the toilets clean, when the camping was fully booked. We haven't seen a thorough cleaning being done, which is a pity because sometimes the toilet area was really groce. Besides that, a lot of positive points: great playing area, sports area (even a tennis court), small snack / bar and friendly staff. And, last but not least, many touristic sites within 10-40 minutes drive. Really a camping worth staying longer.

We've been coming here on and off since 1997. It has been taken over this year by Olela.Pluses: Efficient check-in with pleasant staff. Staff ability to speak English good - other languages non-existent.Minuses: Snack bar (better choice than before , slight rise on price - to be expected) did not cope when site was full. Hedges have not been cut. Ground where new cabins have been out in is dug up and unfinished. A bit of gardening to sort out the hedges between the emplacements and remove the brambles would go a long way. Bins not emptied often enough. Not sure about necessity of guard at gate at night.

Campsite - ideal for visiting the local area as well as a stopover. Cycle routes are goodCampsite is well established with trees and hedges. It is calm and clean with various sized pitches.Staff were helpful, particularly when we needed an interpreter when bikes were stolen in Tours. I recommend secure lock up at the railway station. There is a popular restaurant, opposite the campsite - hidden under the trees

We chose a serviced pitch which was a really good size. It was sheltered by trees on two sides which really helped keep the pitch cool for the dog whilst still allowing us space on the pitch to sunbathe! It wasn’t completely even however which is a bit of a pain when trying to level the caravan! Walking around the campsite though, there are some very small pitches so you do have to pay more if you want a good sized pitch! The pool are has a decent layout. With an outdoor pool, an outdoor paddling pool, and an ‘indoor’ pool in between which has removable covers. When it gets hot later in the day, the cover is removed. The toilets are very basic. The key issue here is that there isn’t enough of them. There is often a queue for the toilets at peak times. The young staff clean the toilets twice a day but in my opinion, these need cleaning more frequently when the site is a busy as it is. This wasn’t a huge issue for us as we can use our own facilities in the caravan. However, it would absolutely bother me more if we didn’t have this. The takeaway/snack area is pretty grotty and we chose not to use it. Especially as there are so many beautiful restaurants in the surrounding areas.A bonus of this campsite is that you can do an online check-in. This means that when you arrive at site, you simple collect the envelope with your name on and show yourself to your pitch. This is great as it saves a huge amount of time when arriving.Overall it is a good site. It is however very expensive for what it is. We probably wouldn’t stay on the site again purely due to what you are getting for the cost, but it is a good location with it being close to the A10 motorway.
