Beautiful campsite, we loved staying here. Surrounded by beautiful nature and on a peaceful lake. The camping spots were large and well kept. We will definitely go here again one day.
Stayed here as a couple with a dog in one of the trappeur tents. Lovely peaceful natural setting, lot's of trees and the lake. This place would be brilliant to bring children that like the outdoors. There is a very good looking rope/cable tree adventure course next to the site. A steam train giving rides that runs past the site, we saw it on the day we arrived (sun) very impressive, think it will run more frequently during busy times. Tennis court, heated pool, sweat lodges, rowing boats, kayaks, BBQ areas, games inside the main building. Easy cycling in the area as the hills are nothing.Order bread and pastries for the next day, pain aux raisins are particularly good. The staff were very friendly and very helpful to us with our poor French language. We need to learn more French sorry.
Our second stay at Huttopia Lac de Rillé and it didn't let us down. Lots for the kids to do and a great experience.
We had a really good time at Lac De Rille, it is a beautiful and well run campsite. We stayed in a trappeur tent over the other side of the lake. We loved being surrounded by trees. There was lots of space for children to run around. It was a really tranquil and peaceful location, with a beautiful view of the lake. We were in tent 95 and the decking was quite hot during the day (you do get a parasol). if you want a bit more shade in the day then 94 and 93 would be ideal. The cabins on the other side looked great as well. The tent was really spacious with a lovely decking area. There is a lot to do. Every day lots of different activities for the whole family. There are bikes to hire, boating, SUP boards and lots of activities for the children. The magic show was brilliant. The entertainment team were all really lovely. We loved the restaurant and being able to have a drink overlooking the lake. We were fans of the stock of great French board games. The main area had air conditioning which was helpful when it was really hot in our first week. The crepes that were sold from 4pm were a eagerly anticipated highlight. We also enjoyed the pizza and burgers. The site is in a great location with lots of great places to visit on your doorstep. The woodland walkway next door was lots of fun.It is really relaxing knowing there are no cars on sites and all the children loved the freedom. We loved the pool area but the decking got really slippy and we suffered from splinters as well. Watched quite a few children and adults fall over when walking on the wood. Hopefully that can be fixed for next year.Overall we had a great time, really clean site, lovely staff and beautiful location. We would love to come back!
Our family had a wonderful time during our long weekend at Lac de Rillé. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the live music and yummy food in the restaurant on Saturday night. The site was clean and in good repair (pool, spa, playground, ping-pong tables, racquet courts). The tents were clean and well supplied. Small things like: good positioning of dish washing / water stations, fire wood, grills and toilets around the site and having chariots available to help carry in/out your bags, make the stay so much more pleasant.
