CAMPING L'ORANGERIE DE BEAUREGARD

Fantastic campsite in the Loire Valley. The staff were super helpful during the booking process and the stay. We were 2 families and they ensured we had adjacent pitches. I forgot to reserve a fridge but they found one when we arrived and dropped it off very quickly. The campsite and grounds are lovely, with spacious pitches. We were lucky to have a pitch at the edge of the woods which the children loved and we had welcome shade on hot days. Although the toilet block was a bit of a walk it was clean, no wait for showers or toilets and there was always toilet roll and soap (often missing at campsites!). The pool is beautifully situated and although it did get busy this is not a surprise due to how hot the weather was on some days.The campsite arranges various activities and it is worth emailing them to book in advance as we missed out on the wine tasting because we only arrived 2 days before. Locally there is plenty to do with bike hire, kayaking, and various towns in easy reach. Recommend a trip to Amboise!All in all, we highly recommend this campsite!

After a delayed visit due to a cycling incident and then the pandemic we were determined to get to stay at this beautiful setting in the Loire Valley and were not disappointed.The best site we have stayed! Lots of attention to detail throughout the site. Tim, Jane and all staff are very helpful and friendly. Showers so clean and well maintained as is the whole site with large pitches and everything works! Stayed for a week and wanted to stay longer. Will definitely be back. Early morning swim in lovely pool followed by coffee at the tree stump tables in the grounds was a perfect start to the day and drinks by the pool in the evening. Lots for families to do also .. so much thought has been given to everything at this beautiful site in the grounds of a beautiful chateau. P &A UK.

Loved our holiday at this amazing campsite. The perfect place for families in a wonderful setting.In most areas of leisure/hospitality/holidays it feels normal now to be treated as a 'cash cow' - but Jane and Tim run their campsite with a real community ethos and staying here you are made to feel extremely welcome.Activities are based on quality over quantity. For children the forest school and pony riding are great. For adults, the Monday night market is a wonderful highlight of the week bringing everyone together.We are already planning when we will return 😀

If you are coming to the Loire Valley, come here! The owners have got everything right. Everything immaculate, attention to detail, large pool heated to 29 degrees, personal service upon arrival all in a beautiful environment. A very chilled out stay which felt quite intimate and socialising was easy.Shower and toilet facilities were very clean and ample shower cubicles first class. Would come back in a heart beat.

Their hospitality went above and beyond our expectations, making us feel right at home. The service was excellent, ensuring that all our needs were met.We also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool area, which provided a relaxing haven after a day of exploration. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.We typically don’t return to the same place twice, but this time, we were so captivated by the charm and quality of Orangerie Beauregard that we came back for a second time. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the perfect fusion of English elegance and French allure.
