CAMPING LES COCHARDS

Lovely campsite! It is right by the river, excellent location.I've been camping in other places but I've been the happiest at this one. It is really well- managed. There are bathrooms, toilets and washing stations in three different areas of the campsite (which I find is rare!) One of them even has a hairdryer attached to a wall that you can use. If not, they can be borrowed by placing a refundable security deposit.The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. There is a massive bouncy castle for kids to play on and little go kart bikes that you can rent. They have a tiny grocery store with some essentials and a library to borrow books and games from.

We wanted to stay longer!! Amazing site, very friendly and helpful staff, not too big, extremely clean services and there's always hit water, a great site for families and children with plenty to do, not only on site but also nearby. We stated for two nights but would have liked more!!! The whole family recommends!!

Idyllic Setting. I and my wife stay at Les Cochards twice a year and usually ask for a river view pitch. We love watching the river and the wildlife which uses it as as we don't visit in peak season the camp is usually peaceful too. Ludovic and his staff are without exception helpful and friendly, and available. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We look forward to many more happy holidays with them.

The most beautifully situated campsite on the banks of the river Cher 10 minutes walk from Saint Aignan. The campsite was immaculately clean and tidy, the pitch we chose on the banks of the Cher gorgeous and the service we received second to none - we will return Thank you so much for a much need peaceful two days.

Pros:Close to Beauval Zoo.Lots of trees.Little swimming pool is great for kids.Cons:Friday night rock concert, not sure "the show must go on" after 11pm ...All in all a great stop-over to arrive early morning in Beauval and stay another night after a long day at the zoo.
