We stayed in a lodge on this site for 5 days a couple of weeks ago. The lodge was very well arranged and was clean and comfortable although the bed was a little harsh. The site was nice and quiet and suits families who want to explore the outdoors, there are good cycling trails and the lake is excellent for swimming (when the lifeguard is there), canoeing, or paddle boarding. The local towns are small but good to explore and it's a short bike ride to go and guy bread or groceries.I would recommend this site and would definitely return.
I booked them online on pitchup.com and they over charged me on arrival . I let them know about the overcharge straight away but the reception guy couldn't refund me without the manager who he couldn't get hold of. ( He said his system says I booked for 3 adult instead of 4 but my confirmation email showed 4 adult )We had a bee/ hornet nest at our pitch, they never mentioned to us but we see them having a look at it so they were aware. They should move us straight away for health and safety reasons but they didn't even mention it to us. Some of the showers worked some not really. Grass and hedges are in poor condition. We won't come back. The next door lake is very nice so it is a shame ( we couldn't go in to the water as they had some sort of dead fish around so they advised not to go in). It ia not a very bad site but they have a lot to work on.Mid July they had loads of groups of kids so if you are looking for a quiet site it is not one of those these days ( we didn't mind)
Seemingly quiet place to stay for one or two nights like we did. Although dogs in the neighborhood are barking a lot. Whuch is disturbing, especially at night. Stayed in the premium lodge which was fine. Did not make use of the campsite sanitair but it seemed to look ok. Very quiet and nice nature in the surroundings. Good for internet detox since there is bad or no wifi/4g/data.
Friendly welcome from reception staff. Here on a one night visit. Showers and washing facilities clean and adequate.Just to note you need own loo roll (as often do in Northern France). Our disappointment was no dog area on beach, however nothing to do with campsite. Appeared to be fairly good dog walking.
Simple camping car
