CAMPING LA RONDINARA

Well maintained campsite in a beautiful environment. Personnel very stiff, borderline unfriendly.Main points:Rondinara beach accessible in 10 minutes by a footpath. Otherwise free parking for camping guests at the parking near the beach.The bungalow we were staying in was very well equipped and modern. Most other bungalows seemed similar. Some of them are a bit exposed though, for lack of vegetation.The checkout process was quite unpleasant. Someone came to count the spoons and plates. After that the bungalow was locked.Lastly, the EUR 75 final cleaning fee is a bit steep. It wasn't communicated upfront that there would be a fee. There is the option of cleaning the bungalow yourself.

We came in the morning as suggested by the reception by phone as we were told we couldn’t reserve an ‘emplacement’ for our tent for just two nights. When we arrived we found a spot where we wanted to put our tent. However, we were asked to leave that spot (booked by someone else) and we were place by someone from the team next to the toilet. They didn’t tell us that a cleaning service would come at night from 4 am to 6 am, making noise and turning all the lights on. So we couldn’t sleep.When we told this to the reception the next day we were simply said ‘we are sorry’.Will not come back.

Camp is quite big. Staff at the reception spoke very good english, which was pleasant.Spots for tents are a bit difficult to get to by car, it can also be quite windy, so secure your tents firmly. Beach is very close to the camp (10 minutes - easy walking).Sanitaries are very clean. You also have a store in the camp and have an access to the swimmimg pool. Price for 2 adults, electricity and car in the outside parking was 36€/day.

Overall a great campsite :-) the sanitary blocks are clean and the tiered pitches are shady enough. The restaurant is good, and the beach down at Rondinara is beautiful.

I‘ve been here for five nights. Honestly it is for me the best camping on Corsica. WC and showers are clean, very nice shadow places (you should arrive at 11-12am), fabulous beach and if needed they also have a restaurant and many additional services. It’s a camping to relax and enjoy the very close beach 🏖 white sand 👍🏻😎
